The Centre for Trauma Informed Fitness (CFTIF) is our impact-oriented commitment to always giving back to our community. As an independently managed registered non-profit organization, the CFTIF is home to multiple fitness programs, workshops, training, and events all centered around fostering a new fitness culture where accessibility, inclusion, and trauma-informed care are at the heart of its endeavors.
As its parent organization, Action Potential Fitness is proud to host CFTIF activities while it works towards establishing its governance structure, achieving greater financial sustainability, and increasing its organizational independence.
Do I need to sign a contract or agree to a long-term commitment.
No! Our plans are flexibile, and include options for drop in and a la carte (single session) services. We are not here to trap you into inflexible contracts or force fitness onto you. We are here to offer you options, support, and an invitation to play!
The Trainer Tiers sound complicated! How do I know who to train with?
The best way to know what you need to is to ask us during a free consultation! You can choose any trainer for your consultation and they can help you identify your needs and the right path for you!
If I become a PT client, how much do I have to pay for group fitness services? What about additional services like counselling or scar treatment?
We do our very best to keep your services as affordable and all inclusive as possible. All clients who train the equivalent of $250.00/month or more have group fitness services included in their fees.
This means that most of our personal training clients will have their group fitness fees included. However, those who do self-directed, weekly express sessions, or a la carte training services can access unlimited group fitness classes may be subject to a pro-rated top up fee to bring them up to the minimum access rate.
Some integrative services may be included in your training, depending on your trainer's tier and your personalized program plan.
However, most of our integrative services are charged "a la carte" as they require specialized equipment/trainers.
Please note: Mind-Body Health Counselling sessions are always purchased "a la carte" and can not be included as part of a package. This is to ensure compliance with the ethical standards of practice of most regulatory bodies.
